Elementalist/Monk questions - Guild Wars Forums

Hello,

I have been roleplaying a elementalist/monk but have not unlocked enough skills to be able to make a character for pvp.

My question is, has anyone tried a build like this? Are there any ways to make a build for pvp?

I was thinking about focusing on a fire elemental with smithing prayers for extra offense and maybe 1 or 2 type healing oriented spells.

How could this character counter a warrior, or any type character with energy drain capabilities?

Any help, suggestions, opinions, or reasons why this character would suck please feel free to explain.
